Having done the job hopping thing for a little while, it is always a joy going to conferences and finding old friends and supervisors. At the Wildlife Society Meeting in Albuquerque, NM I had the pleasure of seeing my old supervisor, Dr. Ray Dueser. He played an instrumental role in helping me formulate the types of questions and concepts I wanted to pursue in grad school. Along with Jim Sparks, he also made my job on the Eastern Shore of Virginia a great experience. Here is Ray and I after enjoying some tamales and enchiladas at the conference.
